Bus trip to Kalsoy
From Tórshavn we will drive to Klaksvík, the second largest town in the Faroe Islands. The town is located on Borðoy. Klaksvík has a lot to offer, for instance Christianskirkjan, which is a modern church building and the Faroese brewing company, Föroya Bjór. From Klaksvík we will take the ferry Sam to Syðradalur, Kalsoy. Kalsoy is an island in the northeast of the Faroe Islands with astonishing views and is dubbed “the flute” because of its thin shape and many road-tunnels. In Kalsoy we will see “Kópakonan” (the seal woman) The statue is located in Mikladalur. After the visit in Kalsoy, we will return with the ferry to Klaksvík and drive to the village of Viðareiði, surrounded by beautiful nature. From Viðareiði we will head back to Tórshavn.
